It is a very interesting question. Sometimes I wonder, why Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have taken retirement from T-20. They are actually more suited to T20 and less to test cricket. The last two series have only proved it. These two words should actually take retirement from test cricket and reverse their retirement from T20. Same is the case with Rishabh Pant, who got no temperament test cricket, should be given more chances in T-20 test cricket. India definitely missed a strong prayer like Cheteshwar Pujara in this series. The success of IPL T20 culture in Indian subcontinent has almost blinded us destroyed the test cricket in India. We desperately need to invent our test cricket.
While I don’t want to discuss, how we gifted our wickets at the crucial moment. We have even forgotten, how to set Field in test cricket. Australia in their second innings had lost six wickets at only 96, but they could score 234 because we did not set enough aggressive field. While Australia on the other hand, after gift of Rishabh Pant set a field which cracked Indian batting line. It is even evident in the photo above.
